Next-generation blood coagulation inhibitors based on R-Warfarin
This project seeks to develop new blood coagulation inhibitors that are more potent and specific than the current R-Warfarin, with fewer side effects and greater safety for patients. Medicinal chemistry and molecular biology techniques will be used to design and synthesize new compounds, and their efficacy and safety will be evaluated in cellular and animal models.
At RSB, we are developing custom immobilized enzyme formulations using a variety of approaches and substrates. These formulations have applications in the life sciences and in consumer products.
